The New Samsung Video Camcorder SMX-C14 and SMX-C10
Electronic giant, Samsung unveiled their latest compact video camcorder with a very ergonomic feel – the new SMX-C14 and SMX-C10. Similar to their HMX-R10 full HD camcorder, which was recently revealed in the CES 2009, both C14 and C10 are featured with an “Active Angle”, allowing for a more comfortable grip during difficult shooting angles. Aesthetic wise, both new SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 also feature Samsung’s stylish Touch of Color™ finish, where hint of color is naturally blended into the deep black body for an attractive crystalline appearance.
Other noteworthy features of these new pair are, 10x optical zoom with Hyper Image Stabilization, 2.7-inch wide swiveling LCD screen in 230,000-dot, intelli-studio and the ever convenient one-touch upload button for direct connection and uploading to You Tube. Samsung also managed to include several others advanced yet unique features into SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 camcorders i.e. time-lapse recording, animated thumbnails and a versatile charging system.
The new SMX-C14 comes with a 16GB built-in internal flash memory, expandable via an SD/SDHC memory card slot. Utilising the H.264 compression technique, recording time is drastically enhanced, and thus, allowing users to record over 6 hours of continuous footage. As for the Samsung SMX-C10 model, SD/SDHC media are required, as it doesn’t feature an internal memory like his other siblings.
Users can look forward to their shipment, targeted sometime in July this year. No price indication yet from Samsung Electronics.
